Jackie says, "I am excited that Washington University was chosen to once again host a presidential debate. Getting involved in this debate is important to me because it allows me to be directly engaged in the political process. Not only am I able to support President Bush, I am able to support Washington University and its efforts. By engaging in this experience, I am learning an enormous amount about the behind-the-scenes efforts put forth by the administration, Student Union, and students themselves. I look forward to the culmination of all of these efforts on October 8th."
