Bio: Barbara Rea is director of major events and special projects, in the Department of Public Affairs. She joined WUSTL in 1984 as coordinator of communications for the University Libraries, and has been in her present position for 11 years. In addition to directing the University's weekly lecture series, the Assembly Series, she is the principal writer for the University's major gift announcements.
