Burson
Charles Burson has an extensive professional career including Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at Monsanto Company from 2001-2006; Counsel to the Vice President, Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff at The White House, Office of the Vice President from 1997-2001; Attorney General for the State of Tennessee from 1988-1997; Partner at Wildman, Harold, Allen, Dixon and McDonnell from 1979-1988; and Partner at Burson and Burson from 1970-1979. In addition to serving as a Delegate at the 1977 Tennessee Constitutional Convention and as a member and President of the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners, Burson has argued four cases before the United States Supreme Court.
