Bio: Professor Faulkender has been at the Olin School of Business since 2002. In 2004-2005, Faulkender was a fellow at the Center for Financial Research, FDIC. His primary areas of expertise are in corporate finance and investments. Faulkender is a member of the American Finance Association, the Society of Financial Studies and the Western Finance Association.

That's the question some finance professors at Washington University in St. Louis set out to answer when they investigated why non-financial firms are timing the interest rate market.
