Stephan K. Schindler, associate professor of German, Comparative Literature and Film Studies Schindler's interests include 18th and 20th Century German literature and culture, German intellectual history, film studies, Holocaust studies, gender studies and contemporary German political and social issues. He has published two books in German: The Invention of Childhood in the 18th Century Novel and Fantasized Sexuality in the Age of Goethe. He is currently working on a book about the Holocaust in film.
