I-CARES inaugural seminar set for Sept. 4

Aug. 31, 2007 -- The International Center for Advanced Renewable Energy and Sustainability (I-CARES) is initiating a seminar series aimed at providing a forum for diverse disciplines in the area of renewable energy.

Mike Edgerton, Ph.D., Ethanol and Quality Traits Technical Lead at the Monsanto Company, will kick off the series with a seminar on "Biofuels: New Demands on Agriculture and Agricultural Productivity." Co-sponsored by the Department of Biology in Arts & Sciences, the seminar will take place on from noon-1 p.m. Sept. 4 in Rebstock Hall, Rm. 322.
