Brentwood I-64 garage opens

June 13, 2007 -- The Metro Meridian Garage at the Brentwood I-64 MetroLink Station opened June 12. The garage, at the corner of Eager and Hanley roads behind the Brentwood Meridian Shopping Center, provides 926 free parking spaces with 22 long-term spaces available on the north side of the 10th floor.

To get to the Danforth, Medical or West campuses from the garage, take the Emerson Park train.

To get to North Campus, ride the Emerson Park train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station, then switch to the airport train to the Delmar Loop Station.

To return to the garage from the Danforth, Medical or West campuses, take the Shrewsbury train.

North Campus riders should take the Shiloh-Scott train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station, then switch to the Shrewsbury train.

The University has added a link to its Web page to update commuters with the latest information on the Interstate 64/Highway 40 construction.

At the bottom right corner of the wustl.edu page is the link "Local Highway Construction Update." That link takes visitors to an internal page with updates, including road and lane closures, alternate routes and public meetings on the construction.

The page includes links to the Missouri Department of Transportation Web site as well as a link to sign up for e-mail updates.
