Metro pass renewal required

April 13, 2007 -- The spring U-Pass, allowing WUSTL community members free use of Metro, the region's public transportation system, will expire May 21. Benefits-eligible employees may request a summer 2007 U-Pass at anytime. Full-time students who have registered for the spring semester may request a pass beginning April 30.

To apply for a no-charge summer pass, valid May 15-Aug. 26, visit the Parking and Transportation Services Web site at parking.wustl.edu. To log in, the employee's HRMS password will be required. For password resets, please contact the HRMS helpdesk at 935-5707. Students log in as usual with their WebSTAC login.

The U-Pass program, funded by the University, provides benefits-eligible faculty and staff, full-time students and full-time employees of basic service contractors a Universal Metro Pass that allows free boarding of any Metro bus or MetroLink light-rail system train.

University community members can opt to pick up their requested passes at a distribution center. The Danforth Campus distribution center will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. May 14-16 at the Mallinckrodt Student Center.

The Medical Campus distribution center will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. May 8-10 at the Olin Residence Hall gym, 4550 Scott Ave.

Passes not picked up at one of the distribution centers can be picked up at the Parking and Transportation office at North Campus starting May 17.

For more information, call 935-5601.
