Last blood drives of the academic year scheduled

March 22, 2007 -- Every 3 seconds, someone in our nation needs a blood transfusion. That's 960 each hour, 23,040 every day and 8,409,600 every year.

The last blood drives of the semester will be held March 26-29. Organizers urge everyone in the WUSTL community to participate and help make this the most successful drive this year.

The blood drives will be held from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. March 26-27 in the Gargoyle and from 5-10 p.m. March 28-29 in Friedman Lounge in Wohl Student Center. To schedule an appointment, e-mail Kate Isenberg at kate.isenberg@gmail.com or Jason Castles at jason.castles@wustl.edu.
