Peter Raven on Channel 9

Jan. 26, 2007 -- Peter H. Raven, Ph.D., the George Engelmann Professor of Botany in Arts & Sciences and president of the Missouri Botanical Garden, will be profiled at 7 p.m. Jan. 29 on Channel 9's weekly magazine show "Living St. Louis." KETC will repeat the show at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 4.

The show will focus on Raven's impact as a renowned environmentalist and on WUSTL's relationship with the Botanical Garden throughout its existence. Also interviewed will be Chancellor Emeritus William H. Danforth and Roger N. Beachy, Ph.D., professor of biology in Arts & Sciences and director of the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. High-definition aerial shots of the campus will also be featured.
