Jade Lin Hornbaker to perform music of Mussorgsky, Schumann, Poulenc and John Ireland Nov. 11

Nov. 2, 2006 -- Mezzo soprano Jade Lin Hornbaker, a master's candidate in vocal performance in Washington University's Department of Music in Arts & Sciences, will present a graduate voice recital at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in the auditorium of the Uncas A. Whitaker Hall for Biomedical Engineering.

The concert is free and open to the public. Whitaker Hall is located on Hoyt Drive, near the intersection of Skinker Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway. For more information, call (314) 935-4841 or email staylor@wustl.edu.

Hornbaker will be joined by pianist Henry Palkes, university accompanist. The program includes music of Modest Mussorgsky, Robert Schumann, Francis Poulenc and John Ireland.
