Donald B. McNaughton

Senior Vice President, International and Strategic Ventures, Corning

Oct. 19, 2005 -- Donald B. McNaughton joined Corning in 1989, working with the Environmental Technologies division in sales and marketing.

From 1995 to 1999, Mr. McNaughton was responsible for Environmental Technologies business in Asia. In that role, he led the division's effort to establish Corning (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., its catalytic converter substrates investment in China.

In 1999, McNaughton moved to the Display Technologies division, serving as general manager of the company's LCD glass business from 2000 to 2002. He was named vice president, Display, in 2002, and senior vice president, Display, in 2003.

Appointed to his current role in 2005, Mr. McNaughton is responsible for driving innovation and growth internationally, and oversees strategically important corporate relationships. He serves on the boards of Samsung Corning Company, Ltd. and Samsung Corning Precision Glass Company, Ltd., and is proposed as a director of Eurokera S.N.C. and Cormetech, Inc.

McNaughton received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and holds a master's degree from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

He and his family have lived in Seoul, Korea; Shanghai, China; and Tokyo, Japan.
